I should have mentioned this earlier. If you write a comment to either a short story or a novel on the main site, be sure that you do not include a URL in either the text nor the designated prompt, where it asks you for a homepage.

This is a very simplistic but effective way to get rid of all spam. I tried a while to use blacklisting, but this turned out to be not very satisfactory.

I worked a little bit on the comment system again. The comments are now shown inline in the novels section, which I like better. I will add comments to the anthologies also some time in the future.

Comments for shortstories should also work. Because of the huge amounts of spam, you probably need to get a TypeKey or something like this to be able to write a comment. But don't let that deter you.

I am still in the process of updating this site. The problem is that the R.A. Lafferty page has always run on Movable Type and used the comment system there. Unfortunately MT is no longer developed as Open Source and I have to migrate it.

To keep all the old data and not lose any isn't trivial and I also have to redo some templates.
I hope I can get it done this month. When it's done it should look pretty much the same to you, but underneath it's will be good to go another few decades :)
