MkConsole - Preferences - Logfiles

Postby cry101duncan » 25 Jan 2010, 13:53

Hello,
First, Thank You for this little neat program!
I like it! Seeing what is happening live in the system.log is very usefull.
My Question:
I removed the /var/log/system.log from preferences - logfile
to add another file (one of my desktop)
Now i'm trying to put back the /var/log/system.log back in the Logfile-Preferences
without success. Indeed, hard to make the finder show thoses system folders ( /var/log ... )
and to drag in the system.log file back in the table (Logfiles -Preferences)

How to proceed ?

In Finder, in the "Go" menu, select "Go to folder..." and type in /var/log. This will get you to the right place and allow you to drag back the logfile you want.

Erik!
Thank you! It's working great.
(now at last I know how to reach system folders by the finder)
